The food was excellent, the service was even better. I went on a Wed. night when they had country music by the Big City Hillbillies and it was so much fun!!!
After a great New Year's Eve meal, I reached out to Lauren (the new owner) about hosting my husband's surprise birthday party there a few weeks later. She immediately understood my vision and effortlessly filled in the gaps with creative ideas, plus great recommendations for food, drinks, and all the little details Knolls could handle. On the day of the party, the tables were set up beautifully, and I had plenty of time to come in and decorate beforehand. The servers were fantastic -- drinks and food came out smoothly, and our guests commented on the delicious happy hour menu and just how comfortable and welcoming the evening felt. Most importantly, my husband was totally surprised. To top it all off, the final cost was super reasonable, especially considering how much was included. Huge thanks to Lauren and the whole team for making our event so special -- we're excited to come back again soon!
We were super impressed with the service at this restaurant. The wait staff acts like a true team and really made us feel cared for. The food is great too! We went for the music last night and it was a fantastic environment! I also love that they have a glass wall between the bar and the tables. Why don't more restaurants do that! It keeps your dinner from being hijacked by a super loud bar atmosphere. Love this place and so glad it's under ownership by someone who really cares for the community!
We just returned to this restaurant as we saw it has new ownership. We had fantastic service by Cheyenne and the food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the crab cakes !! We will definitely be back to try new entrees. Compared to when we were there 2 years ago with the previous owner - it is now a friendlier atmosphere with a pleasant local vibe
What an amazing evening at Knolls. The ambiance was positive and the place was hopping. Alexander was our amazing server and was not only professional but kind and personable. We met Lauren the new owner and what an amazing person with a smile that lights up a room and the personality to match. We started with drinks and the boom boom shrimp. We had Don Julio Blanco with pelligrino and three limes muddled with mint and they were fantastic. For dinner my wife had the Ceasar salad with chicken and I had the short rib pasta. The food was amazing. We ordered a pizza and sliders and took most of it home. The coffee and cheesecake were awesome as well. The band was crossroads and played some awesome tunes including steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, the double brothers etc. Great place, great people and food. Thank you. Highly recommended.
From the moment you step in the restaurant/bar is so beautiful! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive ! Happy hour til 6pm on a Saturday and that boom boom shrimp ... although a bit of a drive from Long Beach.. will be back Lauren the owner couldn't have been sweeter and she is everywhere taking care of her customers and overseeing her wonderful staff
